A Cacao + Yin Ritual

Two hours to gather, soften and reconnect.

Step away from the noise and into the warmth of Heart & Hearth, a deeply nourishing two-hour experience weaving together cacao, candlelit Yin Yoga, reflection, ritual and deep rest.

We’ll begin gathered together with a warm cup of pure Venezuelan cacao, learning about its origins, taking time to slow down, experience its rich, earthy flavour and simply arrive.

From here, you’ll be guided through a gentle intention practice before settling onto your mat for a grounding Yin Yoga practice.

Longer holds. Supported shapes. Quiet moments.

Space to soften the body, settle the mind and listen a little more closely to what you need.

Release & Receive

As our practice draws towards stillness, we’ll explore two simple questions:

What am I ready to release?
What would I like to make more space for?

You’ll be invited to put your thoughts onto paper before taking part in a simple release ritual.

Weather permitting, we’ll gather around the fire. If the weather has other ideas, we’ll stay nestled indoors for a beautiful candlelit ritual instead.

Your intention to receive is yours to keep, a small reminder of what you’d like to carry forward beyond our time together.

Deep Rest

We’ll finish exactly where a BearSoul evening should...

Cosied beneath blankets, surrounded by candlelight and invited into deep rest with sound and guided meditation.

Nothing to achieve.

Nowhere else to be.

Just two hours to slow down and come back to yourself.

Never tried cacao?

You don’t need any previous experience.

The cacao we’ll share comes from Venezuela and has a naturally rich, earthy and more bitter flavour than the hot chocolate you may be familiar with (we will add some spices and sweetness).

Rather than simply drinking it, we’ll take our time. Noticing its warmth, aroma, texture and flavour becomes part of the ritual and an invitation to slow everything down.

There’s no expectation to have a particular experience or feel a certain way. Simply come with curiosity.

Never tried Yin?

Yin is a slower, floor-based style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods with plenty of support from bolsters, blocks and blankets. Lengthening beyond the muscle.

You don’t need to be flexible and you don’t need to be an experienced yogi.
