The Wild Hideaway

Under Ancient Skies

County Cork, Ireland

March 10-13th | £895pp*

*fully inclusive of all meals and activities

What if the most extraordinary thing you could do was simply look up?

Hidden in the wild beauty of West Cork's Mealagh Valley, where ancient stories linger and darkness is something to treasure, lies a rather extraordinary place.

Welcome to The Wild Hideaway, a three-night women's retreat held at a certified DarkSky sanctuary, beneath the light of the March full moon, symbolising awakening, renewal, emergence and the gentle return of life after winter.

Inspired by the ancient folklore of Clíodhna and the Hag of Beara, we'll explore the wisdom of the land, the rhythms of nature and our own quiet knowing.

Our days will be filled with gentle yoga, nourishing food, wild foraging, cooking over open fire and time to simply be. As evening falls, we'll gather beneath the moon, share stories by firelight and settle into candlelit rituals and deep rest.

You'll stay in cosy, twin-share eco lodges, surrounded by nature, with the comforts of outdoor hot baths, sauna and cold plunge facilities.

And perhaps most special of all, we'll have the opportunity to experience the wonder of the night sky from the Wild Sky Dome.

A retreat to reconnect with the elements, find comfort in the darkness and remember the beauty of looking up.

What makes the venue special

The Wild Sky Dome

A heated, transparent dome for watching the night sky in comfort, with guided stargazing experiences available. This will be the retreat's signature experience.

Bathing beneath the stars

Each eco lodge has its own alfresco hot bath and outdoor firepit, creating an intimate and memorable way to experience the darkness.

The elements

Sauna, cold plunge, warmth and water naturally complement a retreat rooted in the cycles of nature.

A connection with ancient Ireland

Kealkill Stone Circle sits approximately a mile from the venue. It's a wonderful connection between the people who lived here thousands of years ago and those looking up at the sky today.
