Where making becomes a way to rest.
Soft Knots and Slow Moments is a gentle three hour afternoon to slow your hands, soften your breath, and settle your nervous system.

We begin with grounding movement and mindful breath to help the body arrive and the mind quiet. From there, we ease into the steady rhythm of macramé, where repetition becomes meditation and making becomes a way to be present.

You’ll be guided step by step to create your own macramé plant pot holder, with plenty of space to move at your own pace. There is no rush and no expectation of perfection. Just texture, rhythm, and the comfort of doing one thing at a time.
You’re warmly invited to bring along a small potted plant to nestle into your finished piece, or simply take this as a gentle excuse to treat yourself to one afterwards. Who really needs a reason, right!

Why March feels just right
March carries a quiet shift. The days stretch a little longer, light returns, and there’s a natural pull towards growth and gentle renewal.

This workshop meets that moment beautifully. Working with your hands, creating something that holds and supports new life, mirrors the season itself. It’s a time to slow after winter, to root before rushing, and to tend to what you want to grow next.

Macramé in March is less about productivity and more about patience, presence, and planting small intentions for the months ahead.
